Meet our Staff

David Nolen

Pastor

Pastor David began his ministry at FBCN on Easter Sunday 2014.  He previously pastored three other congregations in Texas and Oklahoma and has served on the staff of several churches in various youth, music, and college ministry roles.  A graduate of Oklahoma State University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, he also completed doctoral seminars at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  David and his wife Cindy have two grown children.  Believing his primary calling to be that of “declaring the whole counsel of God” to help “present everyone mature in Christ,” he seeks to maintain the attitude of Paul in Acts 20:24:  “I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.”

Pam Magruder

Ministry Assistant

Pam has been a member of FBCN since December 2000 and joined the church staff in August 2015.  She currently serves our Ministry Assistant/Office Administrator as well as our Children’s Leader—an unexpected fulfillment of her early sense of calling to teach and lead children.  Married in July 2021, Pam and her husband Jerry have six children between them and seven grandchildren.  She is a gifted and tireless servant of the Lord and his people, claiming Hebrews 10:23-24 as her life verse:  “Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He Who promised is faithful.  And let us consider how we may spur one another on to love and good deeds.”

Erin Campbell

Worship Leader

Erin and her family were called to FBC Newalla in September 2022. She and her husband Tim were married in June 2005. Together they have two wonderful children Andrew, who will be a junior in fall of 2023, and Samantha who will be an 8th grader in fall of 2023. Erin holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Oklahoma in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in School Leadership from East Central University. She is currently serving in the mission field as a 1st grade teacher in a public school nearby, where she just completed her 19th year. Erin was raised in church and grew up singing and playing the piano in her home church. God used others and circumstances in her life and church, to lead and guide her to this ministry of leading worship four years ago. She  believes we should worship wherever we go. Worship isn’t a 20 minute session at each service, but instead a lifestyle ( Rom 12:1-2). God makes his home in our worship (Psalms 22:3). Through prayerful listening, her goal is to lead the congregation in times of musical praise an worship of our Lord that goes beyond the wall of the room and filling a time slot.  It is a praising, worshiping, God-pleasing, and God-honoring time, as well as an edifying and encouraging time for His people. (Col. 3:16-17).  One of her life verses is Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not rely on your own understanding; in all your ways know Him and He will make your paths straight.

Michelle Lindenbaum

Finance Assistant

Michelle joined FBC Newalla in August of 2007 and became a staff member in June of 2014. She and her husband Neil were married July 16th, 2005 and together they have two children, Jessica, and Ethan. Michelle desires to live her life not as her own, but as a reflection of Christ. Claiming Psalm 34 as her life verse to guide her ” I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth”… “I sought the Lord and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.”

Jonathan Stewart

Jonathan’s calling is to live first and teach second to follow God’s calling to live a sanctified life through God’s grace and to teach as an outflowing the lessons God has thought through following Him as it says in Matthew 5:19.
