Meet Our Staff

NOLEN, DAVID; (Staff)105

David Nolen

E-mail David Nolen

David began his ministry at FBCN on Easter Sunday, 2014.  An alumnus of Oklahoma State University, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, he has been in church ministry for over 30 years.  He and his wife Cindy have two grown children, Daniel and Janie.  His life verse is Acts 20:24:  “I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.”

WALKER, JOHN; (Staff)29

John Walker

Ministry Support Minister
E-mail John Walker

John joined the FBCN staff in 2007 but has been a member here since he was saved and baptized when he was nine years old.  Even at that early age, he knew he wanted to serve in church ministry!  So after working at General Motors for 27 years (“GM paid the bills, but my real job has always been serving God”), he accepted a position on staff at the church.  A true servant who wears countless “hats” around here, John considers ministering to others a great privilege and plans to serve the Lord for the rest of his life.  John and his wife Debbie have two grown children, Krista and Jared.  His life verses come from Matthew 28:19-20:  “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Fahter and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.  And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Steve Huffman

Music Minister
E-mail Steve Huffman

Steve began serving FBCN in January 2014 as Interim Music Minister and became the part-time Music Minister in August 2014.  He has served on staff at churches in Oklahoma, Colorado, and Alaska in full-time, part-time, interim, and supply roles for over 20 years.  He is a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University, where he majored in Church Music.  Steve has a strong desire to lead and teach others to worship God not only through music but also in their everyday lives.  He believes our corporate worship should be an overflow of our daily personal worship.  Psalm 34:3:  “Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt His name together.”

David Bentley

Youth Minister
E-mail David Bentley

David started serving at FBCN in September 2015.  He received Christ as his Savior in 8th grade at Falls Creek and felt a calling to vocational ministry his sophomore year of high school.  After high school, he attended Oklahoma Baptist University, where he studied Youth Ministry.  He has been married to his wife, Kaela, since December 2013.  His favorite part of ministry is seeing students live their daily lives with a desire to follow and pursue Jesus.  David’s favorite passage is 2 Corinthians 2:14:  “But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere.”

Michelle Lindenbaum

Ministry Assistant (Pastor)
E-mail Michelle Lindenbaum

Michelle has been a member of FBCN since 2007 and joined our staff in June 2014. She and her husband Neil have two children, Jessica and Ethan.  Michelle’s life verse is Romans 8:38:  “And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow–not even the powers of hell–can separate us from God’s love.  No power in the sky above nor in the earth below–indeed nothing in all creation–will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
